On a distant planet, two worlds are at odds with one another. On one side of the wall the advanced military state of the undying Archon controls the lives of its Citizens, and on the other side post-apocalyptic gangs battle for the scant few resources the failing colony has left to offer. For hundreds of years the colony of Atrius has been cut off from humanity and has endured generations of civil war. What remains is a gleaming city under a firm guiding hand and the sprawl of a lawless expanse beyond its guarded walls. What is more terrifying under the Atrian sun, the violent clans who inhabit the Fringe, or the totalitarian government looking to maintain order? The shining city of Atrius protects its bustling Citizens from the unbridled dangers lurking beyond its walls, or so the government would have us believe. Interesting inhabitants, the Fringers, lurk beyond the “safety” of Atrius, inhabitants such as the Lucky 8’s.
